Medicare provides for coverage of Dr. Comfort shoes and inserts because custom fit footwear is necessary for the comfort and overall health of the diabetic patient.

Medicare Provides for:

• One pair of Dr. Comfort extra depth shoes annually.
• Three pair of Elite inserts custom fit by Central Florida Foot Care.

Many comfortable styles and colors to choose from.

Please keep in mind that the purpose of Medicare and the Diabetic Shoe Bill is to get the foot into a well balanced shoe before ulcers have a chance to form. If we can avoid expensive surgery and keep you on your feet, the Medicare program saves a tremendous amount of money in the long run.
